One Piece (ワ ン ピ ー ス Wan Pisu?) Is an ongoing Japanese manga series created by Eiichiro Oda, pre-published for the first time on 4 August 1997 and still being published. In Japan, the chapters are pre-published weekly in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and are grouped in bound volumes every three months, the Shueisha publishing since 24 December 1997. The manga knows success very quickly, leading studios Production IG to test the popularity of manga on the screen. An FVO is created and broadcast on Japanese television in 1998. The rights of the series will then be acquired by the company Toei Animation which adapts the manga into an anime, this version has been running since 1999. The Japanese viewers can appreciate the dissemination of this animated adaptation almost every Sunday for 15 years.
