Russia: Drills held utilising new ’Ratnik’ infantry combat system in Pskov

Russian paratroopers took part in drills in Pskov, on Wednesday using the latest equipment, machines and weapons available to the Russian Army. Troops tried out the new ‘Ratnik’ infantry combat system as well as the new automated ‘Andromeda-D’ communication system. Soldiers wearing the new ‘Ratnik’ system performed a quick march overcoming obstacles while using automatic machine guns and smoke grenades.
