Quick Tip Rear Trailing Arm - Don’t screw up your car when doing a disc brake swap By Brian Gillespie Rear disc conversions for your EF, EG or EK are getting harder and harder to come by. They came on a limited number of Civics and of course the DC2 Integra. Every time I go to the salvage yard I find I am too late to grab the discs conversion of the 1 or 2 cars there that had them. Rear discs also came on the DA Integra, but not so fast! Using that rear trailing arm means changing the car’s rear track width and that means the wheel is pushed out toward the fender. If I am trying to fit maximum rubber on rear of my car, I don’t want that. Those trailing arms also use a different rear bushing than the EK, EG, EF and DC2 that has long been discontinued from Honda. Good luck finding those rear trailing arms with good bushings. But there is a way to still use the discs brakes from the DA(DB) Integra and we’ll show you how! Like us? We’d Love Your Support!
