Set in a small Danish village at Christmastime, the film follows Lucas (Mikkelsen), a highly regarded school teacher who becomes the target of mass hysteria after being wrongly accused of a horrible assault on a child. Mikkelsen won Best Actor for this role at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
