Use these tips to avoid having Plankton (Text-To-Speech) skip your superchat: 1: There is a threshold for how much a superchat needs to be for it to be read aloud by TTS. Usually its 5 American dollars, but on streams where I want to be interrupted less it may be set higher. 2: TTS goes by American currency, so be mindful of exchange rates. If you donate 5 Canadian dollars, Youtube will list it in the chat as CA $, but this is only $ in USD and will be skipped by Plankton. 3: When donating from an IOS device, a penny will be rounded off, turning a 5 dollar superchat into a $ superchat. Apparently this is Apple taking their cut? $ superchats are SOMETIMES read by TTS, but most often are not. I wouldn’t risk it, so you can either superchat a higher amount or just send superchats from a PC. 4: Be patient! It can take up to 10 minutes for Plankton to read a superchat. And because it can sometimes read them out of order, during this time it may read other superchats, even ones that were submitted after you. Just because TTS is reading superchats after yours, that doesn’t mean it won’t return to yours in a few minutes. 5: Even when your superchats ARE read by TTS, I might accidentally talk/sing over them and not hear them, or hear them and call you an idiot dumbdumb mouth-breather. 6: If you send a horny/lascivious/vulgar superchat and it annoys me enough, I may tell the mods to ban you. You’ve been warned! 7: The best time to send superchats is when I’m categorizing Sonics or playing a game. TTS is off during the Relaxus prayer, so if you send a superchat before that, I may switch to Relaxus before its read and your superchat may be lost.
