Perseverance Rover Captured Mars’ Moon (Phobos/Deimos)

After the touchdown, the perseverance rover sent images it had captured using its hazard-avoidance camera. While the initial ones were a bit blurry, clear pictures were sent later that day. These pictures cleared showed the cables on which the rover lowered slowly to touch the planet’s surface. This shot was taken by rover’s lower cameras and also is the first colored photograph that NASA received from perseverance. The next few pictures received by NASA contained images of one of the rover’s six wheels and the planet’s surface.
