The Skidder (1929)

L/S of a bus travelling at speed towards the camera. It goes into a skid. It hits a barrier and comes very close to the camera. There is a large ad for Haig’s Whisky on the side of the bus. A novel miniature motor ice sled which the inventor has christened a “skidder“ is featured. M/S of man starting up a small propellor on the sledge. The vehicle moves off with the man kneeling on the back. Two boys cycle through the snow behind him. The inventor drives his device around in the snow. He goes round and round in circles.
