Oldest World of Warcraft trailer (2001)

The first game play footage of World of Warcraft officially unveiled to the public in this short trailer. The World of Warcraft engine was actually just Warcraft III’s engine on steroids. In-game footage released two years before this sleeping giant hit the shelves. What your seeing is actually a pimped out Warcraft III engine. It looks like they had only finished some of the Eastern Kingdoms at this pint in development namely Elwynn Forest, Darkshire, and Westfall.
