I would be the first to admit that Damon/Elena is my absolute OTP and no ship will probably ever compare to them, but for some reason, the Stelena scenes in the last ep just captured me. They were so beautiful because of their impossibility, heartwrenching in their poignancy. The life that they had... is the life that I want for myself.
