“Inside the Cathedral of San Leopardo in Osimo (Marche, Italy) I perform “What We Feel“, the first song from my piano album “Glass Boxes“. In addition to the Cathedral, images of the sea and the beach which inspire the song also appear. “What We Feel“ is a soft & relaxing piano solo catchy melody that brings to light the emotions that sometimes remain hidden within us. It introduces the concept of the album: “Glass Boxes“ are intended as a metaphor for feelings that can be seen and felt but not touched. This inspired the basic idea for the album pieces of music, which range between different moods and also between different writing styles. I imagined glass houses on the bed of the sea, when the tide goes out and gives way to the big beach. Inside the houses, people live, but are sometimes prisoners when the tide rises. They can only go out when the sea is low... And so are their emotions.
