As we bring Israel Week to a close, here is perhaps the most famous tune for Adon Olam ever, composed by Uzi Hitman (1952-2004). I was fortunate to collaborate with Uzi, a secular Jew who was very proud of his contribution to Jewish liturgical music.
Years ago, when I sang it to soldiers all over Israel during my IDF service, they enjoyed singing along. Nowadays, people hum this tune on their way home from Shabbat services. Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom
