5G | The UK’s first 5G train station with Vodafone 5G #5Gamechanger | Vodafone UK

Vodafone is the first company to live test 5G in Birmingham as part of its UK wide trial with Birmingham New Street becoming the first station to test the new faster mobile technology. Mayor of West Midlands, Andy Street, tested the regions new technology on the New Street concourse. Passengers at the station were also invited to test the speeds using Vodafone’s 5G router. Vodafone is rolling out 5G to a number of key commuter locations across the UK in 2019 and will switch on the new network in 19 towns
