Robert De Niro calls Trump a clown amid trial, endorses Biden | LiveNOW from FOX

Actor Robert De Niro, a New York resident, spoke Tuesday outside of the Manhattan courthouse where closing arguments were underway in former President Trump’s “hush money“ trial. While speaking to reporters, De Niro called Trump a “clown“ and explained why he is supporting President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and taking part in an ad for their re-election. During De Niro’s comments, pro-Trump protesters could be heard chanting in the background. The actor even had a brief verbal spat with one of the demonstrators standing nearby. Closing arguments are expected to wrap up on Tuesday with jury deliberations beginning as early as Wednesday. Trump faces 34 counts of falsifying business records. The charges stem from payments made to allegedly prevent stories from surfacing in the final days of his 2016 presidential campaign, including to adult film star, Stormy Daniels.
