GUSTAVE DORÉ MASTER OF FANTASY HD 1080p

Gustave Doré was among the first to fully harness the creative visual potential inherent in the illustration of classic literature, and to produce images for them which have since become iconic in their own right. I’ve crammed as many of his best images as I could in this video but I’ve had to leave out many more than are included. I’ve done my best to pin down his work to years of publication but different sources give different dates so some may well be out by a few years. And my apologies - at minutes I refer to 1953 when of course it should have been 1853. Oops.
