How to make taller and better characters in RPG Maker

If you aren’t a fan of the cute chibi characters this is how I make my own characters taller and still compatible with RPG Maker. If you use anything before MV (XV Ace, 2000, XP, etc, I think this will still work, just the numbers will be different so you’ll have to do the math accordingly) The software I’m using for pixel art is Aesprite (highly recommend) but you can do this in almost any art software. Just to recap two main points: -Best size: 144x192 then multiply x2 (288x384) -remember to name it with a ’$’ as the first symbol
