This piece was again sent to me by mail by the composer and I am happy to present you this recording of mine. The piece is “in memory to Antonio Jobim“ who plays of course a seminal role in the development of Bossanova. The title translates to “Hope“.
Gennady Lukinykh (Perm, Russia, b. 1965) – composer,
jazz pianist, arranger, member of the Russian Musical Union,
winner of the «Golden diploma» VII Slavic music forum «Golden
knight», the laureate of International and All-Russian
competitions.
G. Lukinykh a graduate of the Ural State Conservatory
named after M. P. Mussorgsky (1991). To study composition and
arrangement began in the period of study in Perm Musical College
(1980-1984). He is the author of vocal works – romances,
miniatures, ballads, songs, compositions and arrangements for
choirs and vocal groups of various compositions, mainly a
cappella.
