A Concept in Xiangqi Opening

International Grandmaster (IGM) Alvin Woo explains an important concept in the centre cannon vs screening horse defence opening. Alvin Woo is a 4-time Xiangqi champion in Singapore and an International Grandmaster (IGM), a prestigious title achieved by less than 50 Xiangqi exponents worldwide. His was twice ranked world individual 6th (in the World Xiangqi Championships). Having achieved many years of success, Alvin feels he has reached a different phase in life and wishes to contribute to grooming new players and promoting this beautiful mind sport.
