Join me as I attempt to create my first video game using the networking and coding skills I developed while serving as an Aegis Computer Network Tech in the US Navy. What started as a project to teach my son the basics of programming, using Unreal Engine’s “Blueprint“ scripting, has now taken on a life of it’s own in the form of “Age of Omens, a multiplayer, story-driven, survival RPG that ultimately leads the player to intense PvP action, and a procedurally generated dungeon system that can be customized by the server host at his/her discretion. All of the currently completed functionality of the game, news, future
