Former US Senator Bob Dole dies aged 98

Former US Senator Bob Dole has died at the age of 98. A World War II veteran - Dole had almost died after being seriously wounded by a German shell in 1945. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 1961 - before switching to the Senate in 1969 - serving twice as Senate majority leader.
