Alberta health minister on easing pressures for emergency medical services – May 26, 2022

At a news conference in Sherwood Park, Alberta Health Minister Jason Copping discusses measures aimed at addressing demands on the province’s emergency medical services (EMS) system. He is joined by Tracy Allard and R.J. Sigurdson (MLAs and co-chairs of the Alberta EMS Advisory Committee), as well as Jordon Walker (MLA for Sherwood Park), Rod Frank (mayor of Strathcona County), Jeff Hutton (fire chief and director of emergency services for Strathcona County), Darren Sandbeck (chief paramedic and senior provincial director of EMS), and Elliot Davis (firefighter and advanced care paramedic).
