No title - World Championship Speedway. Wembley, Greater London. Various shots of Speedway trophy. Various shots contestants lined up. C/U Barry Briggs. M/S and C/U Igor Plechanov. C/U Ove Fundin. L/S crowd. C/U pan riders at the start for the first race, tape goes up and camera pans as they go away from camera. Various shots as bikes flash past camera. M/S as Ray Wilson wins race one. M/S riders coming up to start for race four, pan to C/U of Plechanov. M/S as the tapes go up. Rider No. 13’s machine rears into air and he falls. M/S as three remaining riders come through bend. L/S pan as they go past camera with Ivan Mauger in the lead. Various shots of the race as Mauger comes in to win. L/S start of race six, Plechanov takes the lead from Briggs. Various shots of the race Briggs tries to pass Plechanov but can’t manage it. Pan as they come past and Plechanov wins. L/S crowd. L/S start of race seven as they go into bend, Ray Wilson falls but he gets up and remounts his machine. M/S pan with F
