The world’s largest warship, the nuclear-powered USS Gerald R. Ford super-aircraft carrier (5:37), arrives in Portsmouth along with a destroyer of the US Navy and a frigate of the Spanish Navy. 🇺🇸 🇪🇸 The $13billion USS Gerald R Ford, the lead ship of the Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers, is on it’s first deployment since being comissioned on July 22nd, 2017. The USS Thomas Hudner Arleigh Burke-class destroyer and SPS Alvaro De Bazan Alvaro De Bazan-class air defence frigate join the new super-carrier as part of a Carrier Strike Group operating in the Altantic Ocean with multiple other nations.
