This, the first episode of Nonethelesser, features my interview with Ted Feighan, the man behind Tropicalia Hip-Hop instrumentalist, Monster Rally. We talk about his business he operates with his wife, Valley Cruise Press, as well as some of his work under the alias, Shah Marg. I’ve been a huge fan of Monster Rally since late 2018, and even my Spotify reminds me of it when he made my most-listened-to artist of 2019. His sound is extremely easy to get into, but unique from the lo-fi hip-hop scene that, at times, feels a bit overcrowded. Give this sound a chance and you’ll swiftly fall in love.
