On the Front Lines with the Ukrainian Army

Ukrainian soldiers take Hromadske’s film crew on a tour of their dugouts at the front lines in the Donbas region, where the bulk of recent fighting has been concentrated. In the past two weeks, these soldiers with the 128th Mechanized Infantry Brigade said they’ve seen an increase in shelling from the separatists in their area. Sporadic fighting between Ukrainian and separatist forces has continued in eastern Ukraine, despite a truce that was signed back in September.
