The latest game from the Office of New Technologies at the Institute of National Remembrance: “Aviators – War in the skies“🌍 Travel back in time to the period of World War II “Aviators – War in the skies“ is an educational adventure game in first-person mode. The game incorporates skill-based elements and logical puzzles. The storyline is based on real events and characters of Polish aviators serving during World War II. For the purpose of gameplay, the developer has applied certain simplifications and introduced fictional situations and locations to enhance the entertainment. The game features the implementation of a Journal module, containing a compendium of historical knowledge related to the “Aviators.“ With the latest technology, players have the chance to experience the realities faced by Polish pilots and aviation personnel; discover the feats of aces flying in the famous 303 Squadron and learn the history of Polish heroes of World War II who, in the skies of Europe, reached the peaks of human capabilities and sacrifices. Take part in aerial battles and uncover the achievements of the Polish Air Forces during World War II. Players can embody characters such as Jadwiga Piłsudska, operating the on-board devices of the Halifax MK aircraft and Włodzimierz Bernhardt, a participant in the relief mission for the Warsaw Uprising. In the game, we encounter figures such as Anna Leska, Jan Zumbach, Stanisław Skalski, Leszek Owsiany, or Stefan Bohanes – heroes of aerial clashes with the Luftwaffe.
