RESTORATION - Mobile Oil Tanker Truck, My First Restore!

My first youtube restoration; a unique TootsieToy Mobile Oil Tanker Truck! The Model Mack truck was well worn, showing it’s age with missing paint and bent axles . After a complete disassembly, the body was media blasted and repainted using Rustoleum Sunrise Red and Metallic Chrome paint for a bright paint job. Normally I would use primer but I didn’t want to loose the details of the body with too many layers of paint. The tires were in good shape and were reused. With the addition of white paint the lettering really pops now! To replace the flares on the axle I used chrome beads held on with a dab of super glue.
