Lauri Porra plays Brian Eno on acoustic bass guitar by the lake

Summertime in Finland means holidays at your summerhouse. Here i play on the veranda of our sauna on a nice june afternoon. The piece starts with improvisation and proceeds to a solo bass arrangement of Brian Eno´s An Endind (Ascent) from his Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks album. The instrument is an acoustic bass guitar made by Olavi Linden. Sound is recorded just using the mic of the phone. You can hear a studio recording of this instrument here:
