Comics Class #1: Figure Drawing Proportions and Basic Mannequin

Hey there everyone! Welcome to the first session of Comics Class! I’m a longtime comic book artist, and my plan with this series is to teach everything I know about the weird and beautiful art form of drawing comics. In this session, I showed basic artistic/heroic proportions for figure drawing, and broke down the basic “mannequin“ that I use to build my figures. Next session, we’ll talk about gesture drawing!
