Isabella Rossellini (arr. Angelo Badalamenti) - Blue Velvet (Full Song)

Unabridged version of Isabella Rossellini’s haunting rendition of the namesake of the film Blue Velvet (1986, dir. David Lynch), one of my favorite movies of all time. Pardon the huge quality dip (and total mono for aural consistency), but short of a new soundtrack release using the master, this is the most complete version of this we’ll be getting. I did not use the portion from the second scene at The Slow Club because some instruments are muted in that scene. Sources: Blue Velvet OST (1990 re-issue), Blue Velvet Revisited (Rossellini footage/second half of song), Karl-Lorimar Video VHS (background film footage), film audio (last portion). Since the footage for Revisited was shot on 8mm at 25fps (incorrectly slowed to on the CC BD), I’ve matched the frame rate of the film footage to this as well.
