Key 키 X Taemin 태민 X BewhY 비와이 - Burn / Pinocchio / Strangers (Mashup)

A couple of you reached out to me and suggest a Burn x Pinocchio mashup. The instrumentals are so similar I can’t believe I didn’t notice at first! Shoutout to E () and @kim hyunjin barks jeon heejin aww for the idea. I added Strangers because it really works well with the burn instrumental (to my ears anyway) and it gave me more Taemin vocal to work with. The lyrics for Pinocchio are so unique, especially in the context of the other (more typical?) break up song lyrics of Strangers and Burn. I really had to think about it before a story started to come together in my mind (but it did and I’m happy!). I don’t know if it matters to everyone, but for me, the ability to draw a cohesive story out of the lyrics makes mashups a lot more satisfying and interesting.
