Diddle rudiments are a group of four drum rudiments that are based on the paradiddle, precisely the Single Paradiddle, the Double Paradiddle, the Triple Paradiddle and the Single Paradiddle-Diddle. This group is characterized by the use of a double stroke, or the use of two strokes with one drumstick among the other strokes that normally alternate drumsticks.
