Jeremy Irons speaks at the World Food Day 2011 ceremony

Jeremy Irons, nominated Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Food and Agriculture Organization on 17 October 2011, talks about the famine in the Horn of Africa and other challenges to world food security. He says failure to anticipate or prevent famine carries a huge cost and urges the international community to live up to their pledges to help vulnerable men, women and children.
