The Toy Town Party Dance (1931)

No title. Binnie Hale does a song and dance routine in front of a chorus of men dressed as gollywogs. This is a routine from the show “Nippy“ according to paper records. Members of the chorus come on to the stage dressed as different toys: a marionette, pierrots, a dog, Mickey Mouse, toy soldiers, Little Bo Peep (?) etc. Binnie is lifted aloft by the gollywogs. The gollies throw her around a bit. Binnie ends her dance by spinning around vigorously and falling to her knees. The curtain closes. Was an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 507.
