Given the hostility of the natural environment, solitary species are forced to learn to survive on their own, sometimes even fighting each other. However, certain branches of the tree of life have discovered an alternative strategy: cooperation. By coming together, these species have managed to defy the relentless force of natural selection and survive. Sometimes, the fittest are not necessarily the strongest, but the best organized. “Wild Allies“ is a journey around the world to demonstrate that unity makes strength, even in nature.
