The “Double-Tap“ Punch like Max Holloway

After you learn the basic punches, you will learn to change the tempo of your combos. Fighters like Max Halloway and Nate Diaz often use what Coach Vince refers to as “The Double-Tap“ or punching with an off-beat rhythm. You will notice that this not only increases the speed of your punches, but you will land with a higher success rate, simply because the rhythm is different than your opponent’s defense.
