Street Trials In Aberdeen With Ben Travis : Failure Is Always An Option

Ben Travis is a fellow Yorkshire man who’s made the move to Scotland but instead of coming to Glasgow where all the cool cats live he decided Aberdeen was his home. He’s a family man and also has a real job so it was nice for him to put me up at his house and spend some time showing me his local spots. I’ve been in Aberdeen before but never had a proper ride, turns out there’s some really cool street here and I can see why Ben is as good at riding as he is. Speaking of, Ben really put me through my paces, I tried a number of his lines and struggled, in fact I felt like I struggled a lot and had to walk away from a few things without fully landing them. This is something I hate doing but failure is always an option and part of you keep going and take away your energy and time to do other stuff or try your best but move on and enjoy more spots if it’s putting up a battle? This time I felt seeing more of Aberdeen and getting more diverse clips was the better option.
