Princess of Wales will not be taking part in Colonel’s Review

The Princess of Wales will not be returning to public duties for the Colonel’s Review on 8 June. The Colonel’s Review is a military ceremonial event that takes place the weekend before Trooping the Colour. As as colonel in chief the Irish Guards, Kate would have taken the salute. Instead, it will be taken by Lieutenant General James Bucknall.
