Appassionata, 2024-03-17, 01-45-52, France 3 - En hommage à Patrick Dupond, disparu en mars 2021, le Ballet de l’Opéra national de Paris célèbre celui qui, tout au long d’une carrière fulgurante et solaire, a incarné le visage de la compagnie sur tous les continents. Connu dans le monde entier, formé à l’Ecole de danse de l’Opéra, danseur Etoile en 1980, puis directeur de la danse à l’Opéra de Paris de 1990 à 1995, Patrick Dupond a dansé et brillé pour les chorégraphes majeurs de son temps. Au programme de cet hommage : “Le Chant du compagnon errant“, de Maurice Béjart, “Vaslaw“, de John Neumeier, et “Etudes“, de Harald Lander. - In tribute to Patrick Dupond, who passed away in March 2021, the Paris National Opera Ballet celebrates the man who, throughout a dazzling and sunny career, embodied the face of the company on all continents. Known throughout the world, trained at the Opera Dance School, Etoile dancer in 1980, then director of dance at the Paris Opera from 1990 to 1995, Patrick Dupond danced and shone for the major choreographers of his time. On the program for this tribute: “The Song of the Wandering Companion”, by Maurice Béjart, “Vaslaw”, by John Neumeier, and “Etudes”, by Harald Lander.
