John Ruiz Vs David Tua, Shocking First Round Knockout, Heavyweight Boxing Title , Tua Amazing Power

John Ruiz Fron The USA Faced David Tua the undefeated power punching New Zealander in March, 2006, with Ruiz defending his international Heavyweight Boxing Championship Belt. The fight that most people thought would be far more evenly matched was over after just 16 seconds into the first round, after David Tua unleashed a barrage of massive punches into Ruiz that knocked him across the ring and into the ropes before Tua again smashed Ruiz with crushing blows to the side of the Jaw, the last punch catching Ruiz as he was falling. Ruiz collapsed under the ropes his eyes closed, after enduring one of the most devastating knockouts in boxing history. David Tua, the young 23 year old New Zealander of Samoan descent, was the new Heavyweight champion of the world. Whilst Ruiz was still dazed on the canvas being attended by medics, Lou Nova, the famous boxing trainer, rushed into the ring and hugged his new World Champion.
