FLYING BIRD ORNITHOPTER MECHANISM RUBBER POWER PART 2

Alhamdulillah, my 3rd ornithopter is done and have a great flight. this flying bird mechanism is so challenging, especially with rubber powered. When i change the cover with heavier plastic grocery, don’t have altitude yet. The other one of my ornithopter have shorter connecting rod and flapping so fast, bad for wing construction, balsa is less stiffness Balsa wood construction, and some connecting rod made from stick ice cream (harder then balsa wood) to get strong and good construction. Covering with thin plastic glued with spray glue. What a lovely bird. This plan is pterothopter ornithopter model, plan by colin taylor.
