Thomas Banchoff, Professor of Mathematics at Brown University, gives tells us how Salvador Dali loved to use images and ideas from mathematics and science in his paintings, and in his religious paintings in the 1950s. He incorporated geometric figures in order to express theological perspectives. The most notable is the four-dimensional cross in “Corpus Hypercubus“.
