Turn the sound on! Yesterday I launched the Alphabet of Illiteracy with #projectliteracy to try and raise awareness of the impact illiteracy has on many global issues. For example, if you are illiterate you are twice as likely to experience violent crimes, and five times less likely to understand how you catch or avoid aids.
