BOLLYWOOD SHINES AT ’UMANG’, THE ANNUAL FUNCTION OF MUMBAI POLICE

CVB NEWS- Like every year it was a house a full at the Umang, the annual function of Mumbai Police. Almost all the Bollywood fraternity marked presence for the gala event. From Big B to King Khan, from Vidya to Rani, no one was missing from the action to woo the Mumbai Police who dedicatedly works to secure and protect the ’Maximum City’. Among those seen walking the red carpet of the event were Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Himesh Reshamiya, Shabana Azmi and Sushmita Sen. Veteran Jeetendra graced the event with actor son Tushaar Kapoor, while versatile actor Ajay Devgan turned up for the event too. Praising the courageous cops, gorgeous Vidya thanked Mumbai Police for its efforts they put to protect the city and police keeps an eagle eye over the city to fight crime and terrorist activities and also giving a special attention the security to the Bollywood fraternity. Every year Bollywood turns up to perform at Umang for free to entertain policemen and their families.
