This arrangement of the Stevie Wonder/Ariana Grande song about friendship from the animated movie “Sing“ is a duet feature for treble and bass clef voices, alto saxophone and easy backgrounds for SAB choir. Commissioned by Kinard Middle School, this version will work best with particularly strong solo singers with some skills in a pop/R&B style, and the solo may be also split up among many different singers, each taking a small segment that works for them. The alto saxophone part has some supportive written figures throughout and is featured on blues choruses in A-flat. This chart would work very well as a closer in a younger group’s program, and is a lot of fun to sing!
Fully-notated piano and bass parts, alto saxophone, drums
