Crazy weather in Scotland! Heavy rain and flooding in Edinburgh

Rain and flood in Edinburgh, Scotland Natural disaster on July 4, 2021 On Sunday, July 4th, heavy rain hit the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, causing flooding throughout the city. The city changed in a matter of hours when streams of water flowed through the streets and difficult driving conditions arose. Traffic Scotland reported that Edinburgh’s A720 bypass has been closed in both directions due to flooding. It was also reported that for safety reasons, trains between Helensburg and Edinburgh will now run only between Helensburg and Bathgate. Center St. James was also hit by heavy rain. Water seeped into the building from the rooftop right in front of the huge Boots store. The area near the store was closed to avoid injury to customers. This luxurious new mall opened last month after five years of construction. All of this came after Scotland, including Edinburgh and Glasgow, received a yellow warning for rainy weather for most of the day. Serious property damage and personal injury has not yet been reported
