THE BEAST IS BACK - PAC MAZDA6 SP 20B TRIPLE TURBO AT GRUDGE KINGS 2021

It’s been some time since we last saw the Mazda6 SP strut her stuff on the track and now, after a full front-to-back rebuild and a host of updates & upgrades, the beast is back in action! With a new MoTeC M1 Series management & data system on board and not 1 but 3 Garrett - Advancing Motion turbos now feeding the angry triple rotor, we approached the Grudge Kings event on the weekend as an opportunity to do a few shakedown passes and gather some data whilst George gets comfortable behind the wheel once more. After a few test hits, things looked good on review of the data and the go-ahead was given for some full track passes - a handful of runs that would surprisingly see us end up in the finals of the Pro Elite Class, taking home Runner Up. While a win would have been great, the team still had a ball and the data obtained gives us great confidence leading into the new year!
