Israeli forces demolish Hamas tunnel hoarding terror artillery in central Gaza Strip

The IDF reported the demolition of a Hamas tunnel in the central Gaza Strip, situated just 1.5 kilometers from the Israeli border. Reservists of the 646th Brigade and combat engineers from the elite Yahalom unit discovered the tunnel, connecting north and south Gaza. The tunnel was approximately one kilometer long, 20 meters deep, and located 1.5 kilometers from the border. Combat engineers subsequently destroyed the tunnel. Additionally, during the operation, the 646th Brigade identified rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and other military equipment used by Hamas.
