Uptown Music Collective - Free Fallin’ (Tom Petty)

On October 2nd, 2017 the world lost rock music legend Tom Petty. A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer, Petty served as the leader of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. He was also a member and co-founder of the late 1980s supergroup the Traveling Wilburys, and his early band Mudcrutch. This loss was felt far and wide, especially right here at home with the students of the Uptown Music Collective. The students decided to pay their respects to this legend the only way they knew how, by covering one of his most famous tracks as well as his longest-charting, Free Fallin’.
