These grand homes are no longer fit for purpose, requiring a large amount of money to renovate and even more to maintain, the wealthy families who once resided here, who passed them down through the generations, have by now moved elsewhere, leaving so many ancestral homes to fall into decay. No attention to detail was spared, each and every room a work of art, adorned with renaissance paintings and ornate furnishings. Once a large bustling family home, a shelter for their luxury lifestyle, now a dusty shadow of its former self.
