At London’s central gas mask store we see good shots of factory women assembling and working on manufacture of gas masks. The first batch of two million masks to be sent out to the London Boroughs are put into boxes and sealed in special airtight containers to avoid deterioration of the rubberised face pieces. Men throw boxes to one another as they are packed onto trucks.
